2) Eligibility & acceptable use. You must be 18+ to use the Site or submit a pawn/sell inquiry. You agree not to upload or offer items prohibited by law (e.g., stolen, counterfeit, hazardous, or otherwise unlawful goods) or to use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

3) Estimates & non-binding content. Online prices, quotes, gold/silver/platinum estimates, and content on the Site are informational only and not binding offers. Final values require in-person testing, verification of ownership, and valid government ID.

4) Accounts, submissions, & reviews. If you submit photos, descriptions, serial numbers, reviews, or messages (“User Content”), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with the Site and our business. You represent you own or are authorized to share it. We may moderate or remove User Content in our discretion.

5) Intellectual property. All Site content is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. You may not copy, frame, scrape, or mirror content without written permission.

North Carolina Pawn & Secondhand Disclosures (Charlotte, NC) Last updated: October 10, 2025

This summary is provided for transparency and customer education. Your pawn ticket or purchase record controls, and North Carolina law governs.

1) Nature of a pawn loan. A pawn is a collateralized loan. You receive funds secured by your item; we retain possession until you redeem. No credit check.

2) Charges & caps (NC).

• Interest: up to 2% of the principal per month and anything under 500.00 is 22% monthly interest rate.
• Service/Storage/Insurance/Appraisal: monthly fees allowed, but total fees (excluding interest) may not exceed 20% of principal, and may be capped by statute per month (e.g., $100 first month; $75 second; $75 third; $50 each month thereafter). Your pawn ticket shows exact amounts.
• Returned-check fees may apply as allowed by law.

3) Term, grace & sale.

• Minimum original term: 30 days.
• If not redeemed, pledged goods may be sold or otherwise disposed of after the period allowed by law (commonly 60 days past maturity). Your pawn ticket states the maturity date and any grace period.

4) Records & holds.

• We maintain transaction records and provide required information to local law enforcement (Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department) in the manner and time frames they authorize (including electronic reporting).
• Items may be subject to law-enforcement holds. We cooperate fully with lawful investigations.

5) Care of pledged goods. We exercise reasonable care of pledged goods in our possession and will return them upon payoff and identification. Pledged goods are not sold or removed before the time allowed by law.

6) Prohibitions & eligibility.

• No transactions with anyone under 18; valid government ID required.
• Certain property cannot be pledged or purchased under NC law (examples include some titled vehicles, manufactured housing, etc.).

7) Military customers. We comply with protections for covered servicemembers and dependents under federal and state law (including, where applicable, the Military Lending Act).

8) Secondhand purchases. When we buy items outright (not as a loan), we verify identity, collect required details, and report as required by law. Some items may be subject to a police hold before resale.

9) No obligation to redeem. You are not required to redeem or make payments. Non-redemption may result in forfeiture as permitted by law; title may transfer to us upon forfeiture, consistent with NC law.
